Dear colleagues

I hope this email finds you well.

We hope your students are looking forward to starting their studies at the University of Glasgow in September and that their preparations for coming to join us are going well.

We appreciate that arranging international travel to Glasgow is challenging at this time. To try and make this simpler for you, the University is investigating the possibility of organising a direct chartered flight from China to Glasgow to assist students whose programmes begin on the 21^st September. It is hoped to offer transportation on the weekend of the 12^th September. Students would be expected to pay for their own flight but costs would be kept to a minimum.

At this stage, we are asking students who would be interested in this possibility to register their interest. To do so, they must hold an accepted offer for a programme starting in September at either the University of Glasgow or Glasgow International College.

Please be aware that registering an interest is not a guarantee of a place on a flight and you will be responsible for arranging your own travel to the departure airport. The choice of departure airport will be informed by the feedback we receive, but is likely to be Beijing or Shanghai.

The University will send the survey to offer holders today. Please also feel free to share this with any of your students who might have an interest. They can register their interest via this webpage before Friday 10^th July and the University will be in touch as soon as a decision has been made.
