Greetings from the University Language Centre at the University of Manchester. I am writing to update you on the English courses that we currently have available.

 

Pre-sessional Courses

We have had a number of queries over the last week regarding our Pre-sessional courses and the closing dates for applications. The Pre-sessional courses are still open for applications and will be until 5pm on the published application deadlines which are:

10 week course: 17th May 2019

6 week course: 7th June 2019

3 week course: 21st June 2019

English for Academic Purposes

Applications are now open for September 2019 entry on our English for Academic Purposes programme. The course is open to students who have a minimum IELTS score of 4.5 overall, with 4.5 in writing and no sub-skill below 4.0. The course is ideal for students who would like to improve their English before embarking on a Pre-sessional or degree level course.

English Summer Programme

Places are still available in July on our English Summer Programme. Popular with groups of University students, the course offers a short 3-4 week general English course with a social programme and visits to local places of interest.
