The MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing Marketing is a 16-month program delivered by emlyon business school in partnership with Parsons School of Design at The New School (New York City) and in association with London College of Fashion, preparing students for an international management career in the luxury industry. It offers you a true multi-campus and multi-country experience by studying in Paris, London or New York and Shanghai.
You’ll acquire the basics of management, discover how to apply specialist management knowledge to the luxury industry, focus on the Fashion and Lifestyle Industry (London) or the Luxury Design Industry (New York City) and master fundamental skills that you will transpose to the luxury dimension of your choice. You will also experience the differences in international business cultures. Furthermore you will gain tangible work experience through the internship and business projects that are an inherent part of the curriculum. If you want to build a successful career in the highly competitive, highly international luxury industry, then this program offers you all that you need.

YEAR 2 第二年
The second year of the program is dedicated to the Final Management Project conducted under the supervision of a tutor. This is an applied or theoretical research project that can be completed at a distance and in parallel with full-time employment or an approved internship. Students are encouraged to choose a subject related to their future career.在老师的监管下完成最终的项目,可以工作,实习等。
Specialized Field Research Project
Students will take part in a study trip of one week in one European Fashion Capital. They will have the opportunity to meet with leading industry professionals and visit companies in the fashion, design and luxury industries.
During the company visits students will work on a project relating to one of these industries and in alignment with their future career ambitions.
Internship
Students are encouraged to undertake an internship of a minimum of three months in a company of their choice at the end of the taught part of the program. It is expected that the internship will contribute to the content of the Final Management Project. The internship may take place anywhere in the world.
Final Management Project
The second year of the program is dedicated to the Final Management Project which will be undertaken under the supervision of a professor.
Students will focus on a management aspect of the fashion, design and luxury industries; they are also encouraged to choose the subject of the Final Management Project in coherence with their future career goals. It is possible to complete the project in parallel with an employment or an internship in France or abroad.

Foreign language skills are essential in a globally competitive business environment. The program is taught in English, and no prior knowledge of French is required to attend the program. Students have the possibility of learning French or another foreign language such as Spanish, German or Chinese during the program.
This language component, although not compulsory, is highly recommended for students who intend to pursue an international career, since companies in the Fashion, Design and Luxury industry are currently recruiting personnel speaking the language of the country in which they are based, in addition to English and in-demand languages like Chinese, Arabic or Russian.
